using the mailing lists
The language of all these mailing lists is English and everybody who wants to use one of them should read the paper "How To Ask Questions The Smart Way" from Eric S. Raymond first. It gives many detailed information about how to ask questions and what can be expected from the developers and users on these lists.
The so called "Top-posting" should also be avoided when using one of these mailing lists.

The mailing list managing software also has a native email frontend for subscription and unsubscription. To use this an email to the -request address with the desired command in the subject line must be written. So for subscribing to the bluez-announce mailing list it is enough to send an email with the subject subscribe to
